Skylake is a private recreational community located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains of Northeast Georgia, not far from the Alpine Village of Helen, nearly surrounded by the Chattahoochee National Forest. This 'Old Fashioned' Ice Cream Parlor and sandwich shop was once a Pharmacy in the 1890's, with actual ledgers, medicines and other artifacts. Visit the gift shop just inside the store that has crafts such as pottery, quilts, and wooden toys.
