
Though Mt. Yonah is located in the public Chattahoochee National Forest, there is no public road access to the mountain top. You are free to park in the area under the power lines at the base on the road and walk 2.7 miles up a gravel road to the primitive campground. Climbing Mount Yonah can be done by starting on the granite brow that sits just below the summit on the south west side of the mountain. Mount Yonah is located in the Chattahoochee National Forest between Cleveland and Helen in North Georgia. The mountain is located a few miles south of Helen off State Route 75.

The store has been open for over 30 years and offers quality, handcrafted, contemporary crafts. The selection varies from handmade crafts in wood, metal, and pottery and includes handblown glass from over 25 artists. The artists' will often be on site at the pottery wheel, letting you see him create his lastest piece of art. From the deck you can feed the trout or just take in the beautiful view of the river.
